Mandarins – Our Early Mandarins as testing well ahead of last season in terms of sugar/acid ratio. Brix is as high as 12.5 with acid levels ranging from 1.3 to 1.9 (target is 1.2-1.5). As you can see in the attached photos, we are starting to get some good color break as well. We will be harvesting our first fruit of the season sometime mid-week next week and plan on packing fruit on October 15th or 16th. We are looking forward to a great start to the season!
Meyer Lemons – We are planning to harvest and pack our first fruit of the season the week of October 21st. Fruit size is running about a size smaller than we saw last year, but fruit quality is great! Peak sizes will be 165/200/140’s. Our most popular pack is the 18/1# Brilliant Pouch Bag! Also, this season we have updated our pouch bag and it is now recyclable!
