We are now in the 11th week of packing and shipping. On an average year this would be the mid-point of the stone fruit season, however this year’s harvest is following a more metered pace giving you plenty of time to promote and more opportunities to grab!  We have plumcots of every kind, red, green, black, and mottled, huge white nectarines for the next few weeks, and fantastic yellow peaches.  Check out this video to see which plumcots we will start to harvest over the next few weeks and why they are particularly big and sweet this year!

Coming Up:

Weather:
The current weather is ideal for growing fruit. We adapted to the effects of a wet spring and a longer than normal bloom by grading out more fruit than average and harvesting a ranch one or two more times compared to previous years. You can rest assured, our premium Summeripe box will continue to be the gold standard!

Ingredients
  1. 1 1/2 pounds Summeripe Plumcots, peeled and sliced
  2. 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  3. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  4. Kosher salt
Instructions
  1. In a blender or food processor, combine plumcot slices, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and a generous pinch of salt.
  2. Puree until smooth, scraping down any chunks on the side of the blender.
  3. While fruit is blending, cover a metal baking pan with wax paper.
  4. Transfer puree to the baking pan and freeze until firm.
